Country Comical Originals
Here are some of my Country Comical original paintings which have been published over the years as cards and prints, and reproduced on placemats, tea towels, mugs and jigsaws.
Some of these original paintings are still available to buy.

This is one of my all time favourites and has been reproduced as cards, prints, on mugs and tea towels, and is now available as a 1000 piece jigsaw from www.cardtoons.co.uk . This is reminiscent of childhood visits to the seaside and the old steam trains, still in use today in the Yorkshire Dales.
Collie Bath,
Collies having a well deserved cool down after a day on the fell. This painting was inspired by a water trough in Thwaite in Swaledale, my favourite dale. The rusty old trough was shot full of holes and constantly leaking, a landmark for years. Then somebody must have thought it was an eyesore and it disappeared.
Sheep Driving!
Sheep Driving!
One of my first Country Comicals and the most popular of all my paintings. This one was bought by a lady in Shetland. It ‘s an old grey Fergie tractor with an unusual cab and shows the pesky nature of sheep.
Under Repair!
A whole bunch of Country Comical animals helping the boss to mend an old tractor. Wonder if he’ll ever get it moving again?
